ALENTIS has licensed technologies and compounds that are the result of more than a decade of research conducted by the University of Strasbourg and Inserm, IHU and Mount Sinai Hospital, New York. ALENTIS is a privately held company financed by BioMedPartners, BB Pureos Bioventures, BPI France, Schroder Adveq and the German fund HTGF (High-Tech Gründerfonds).
At the origin of the project
Prof. Thomas BAUMERT, world-renowned scientist in the field of liver disease, doctor and professor at the University of Strasbourg, IHU Strasbourg, Strasbourg University Hospitals
and Inserm. Director of the Institute for Research on Viral and Liver Diseases, Inserm U1110, University Professor and Hepatologist at the Hepato-Digestive Centre of the New Civil Hospital of Strasbourg and founder of ALENTIS
Thanks to the TheraHCC programme led by the IHU Strasbourg with the support of the ARC Foundation and major contributions from the HepSYS Laboratory of Excellence, the European Union, the ANRS, the University of Strasbourg Foundation and Inserm, Professor Thomas BAUMERT and his team have made unprecedented discoveries in the treatment of liver diseases.
