TERDEPOL
Description:
TERDEPOL develops and markets a comprehensive, mobile on-site remediation process for soil contaminated with hydrocarbons, using a new, highly effective biodegradable surfactant. The process, which is protected by intellectual property rights, comprises successive modules ensuring the leaching of contaminated soil, the separation of pollutants, their recovery – the recovered hydrocarbons are not altered by the process and can therefore be reused at a later stage – the recovery of the surfactant, which can also be reused after filtration, and finally, the replacement of the clean soil. The process will be sold as a single module integrated into a small container, which can be handled by an Ampliroll system. This module can process up to 40 tonnes per day. It will also be available as a combination of five modules mounted on a standard 13.6-metre trailer, enabling the on-site processing of up to 200 tonnes of contaminated soil per day.
