Description:
EVE Evolving Education's mission is to democratise medical and surgical education through innovative teaching tools based on digital and virtual simulation. Its first product is a mobile simulator that accelerates and improves the training of surgeons in flexible endoscopy, a technique that is increasingly replacing conventional surgery.
The consortium has developed a prototype for the first flexible endoscopy application, laying the foundation for more advanced clinical applications that will benefit from streamlined distance learning.
At the origin of the project
The EVE Evolving Education project is the result of an initiative by an international consortium comprising university research laboratories, industries and institutes specialising in medical training and innovation: INRIA, IRCAD, the University of Strasbourg, the University of Twente, and IHU-Strasbourg.
