How to polymerize epoxy-amine resins by light action
Project description
This project involves the development of new formulations for photopolymerizing epoxy-amine resins.
Several applications are envisaged, particularly in the field of adhesives.
During a prematuration funded by Conectus, the team has already demonstrated that these new formulations can prepare these resins in less than ten minutes compared to several hours with current methods at room temperature, or with the need to heat.
Why does Conectus invest in this project?
The maturation project will optimize the formulations according to the final properties of the material, the ease of implementation and the cost of the solution.
A formulation and its photopolymerization process will also be developed at the pilot scale to demonstrate in real conditions to end users.
