BRIGHTSENS DIAGNOSTICS
Description:
Based in Strasbourg, BrightSens Diagnostics, a young start-up and winner of the 2021 I-Lab Innovation Competition, is developing disruptive technology in molecular diagnostics. Its innovation, developed by the Bioimaging and Pathologies Laboratory (UMR CNRS 7021 / University of Strasbourg), has been propelled forward by SATT Conectus. It will facilitate and accelerate the detection of diseases and optimise patient follow-up. The result: simple, rapid, economical and environmentally friendly screening and early diagnosis tests, with two initial applications in oncology and virology.
At the origin of the project
Dr Andrey KLYMCHENKO, Director of Research at the CNRS, and members of his Nanochemistry and Bioimaging team, notably Dr Andreas REISCH, Senior Lecturer at the Bioimaging and Pathologies Laboratory (UMR CNRS 7021 / University of Strasbourg).
