How to regenerate osteochondral lesions
Project description
This project aims to develop a new generation of bioactive implants for regenerative medicine and more specifically for the reconstruction of bone, cartilage and osteochondral unit.
The technology includes a nanostructured three-dimensional membrane combined with cells organized into microtissues (cell spheroids) that also provide them with a three-dimensional environment. This innovative biomaterial allows a faster and deeper reconstitution at the heart of the implant.
Why does Conectus invest in this project?
Conectus' financial investment will enable biocompatibility and efficacy studies on large animals to be carried out in accordance with the preclinical development standards for such medical devices.
